Pocket Lap started as a group chat where three of us kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't stop playing. At some point the messages got long enough that we figured we might as well turn them into proper reviews. So here we are, a small editorial team that mostly cares about racing, arcade, and anything with a good sense of speed.,We don't get games handed to us with instructions on what to say. We download them like everyone else, play until we have a real opinion, and only then start typing. If a game bores us after twenty minutes, we say so. If it keeps us up past midnight, we say that too.,Games get picked for one simple reason: someone on the team liked it enough to argue about it. We rotate genres on purpose, because a site that only covers puzzles gets stale fast. RPGs, strategy, racing, casual time-killers, they all get a fair look.,There's no algorithm deciding our scores and no sponsor whispering in our ear. Just people who spend too much of their free time tapping screens and want to save you from the duds.
