Cozy games for winding down after a rough day
Not every gaming session needs adrenaline. Some evenings I just want something soft to keep my hands busy while my brain unwinds. That's where cozy sims and slow adventures earn their place.
Skyfarm Drift became my go-to for this. No timers, no pressure, just planting things on floating islands while a gentle soundtrack plays. It's the opposite of everything else on this site, and I love it for that.
Lantern Hollow fills a similar slot but with a story. It's slower and a little melancholy, best played with headphones when the house is quiet. The two make a nice pair depending on your mood.
The trick with cozy games is to not treat them like a to-do list. Let them be slow. The whole point is that nothing bad happens if you take your time.
